Rising Star Lawn Fertilizer

Rising Star Lawn Food is naturally organic (not chemically produced), it can be applied with no worries of harming children or pets. Rising Star Lawn Food (10-0-5) is an organic fertilizer derived from processing corn into ethanol.

  • Superior natural organic fertilizer
  • Slow release
  • Non-burning
  • Water insoluble form

Natural Organic Nitrogen
The natural organic nitrogen content of Rising Star Lawn Food is released when soil microbial activity is present. Since the conditions that favor plant growth are similar with those that favor microbial activities in the soil, the nitrogen is released about the time the plant needs it. Rising Star Lawn Food starts releasing nitrogen in 4 to 6 weeks and continues throughout the growing season. Due to this low release process, your plants will make more efficient use of the nitrogen they receive.

Naturally Healthy Soil
Organic matter is the lifeblood of any fertile soil. After repeated use, Rising Star Lawn Food will help to condition the soil by raising the organic matter content levels. Rising Star Lawn Food is ideal for soils where nitrogen and other nutrients are depleted quickly.

Very Low Phosphorous Because. . .
Rising Star Lawn Food contains less than ½% phosphorous, it is ideal for use on properties bordering lakes and streams. Phosphorus leeching has been found to increase aquatic weed growth and promote unsightly algae. In a growing number of communities, application of phosphorus enriched fertilizers is strictly controlled.

Application
Rising Star Lawn Food can be spread with either a drop spreader or a cyclone spreader. Recommended application is twice a year. Apply 20 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. per application. Rising Star Lawn Food incorporated into a seasonal fertilizer program, will provide essential nitrogen and potash, which produces healthy green foliage on all types of ornamental plants such as lawns, trees, shrubs, evergreens, flowers and ground cover.
