May 5, 2007 - We had about 2 ½” of water this past weekend – the flood missed the job-site, which was very good. The beerwell and fermenter #7 have the 2nd stainless steel rings up. The liquefaction tank foundations are poured. The dryer pier footings are completed; they are forming the piers now in preparation for the drums to arrive at the beginning of June. The evaporators will start arriving on-site Thursday. Fagen continues to pour footings and piers for the process building. Thorstad poured the first section of the concrete floor for the DDG storage building. The grains receiving main pit concrete work is complete. They are forming up the walls for the truck dump pits. Brown tank is mobilizing on-site and getting ready to start building the ethanol storage tanks in the tank farm. Loiseau continues to work on the rail loop dirt work and should be complete by July 1st.
